Come and check it out, and bring your friends with you! -- Every Sunday evening, 6:00 p.m. (And, by the way, we're usually concluding by 7:15 or 7:30 so there's still plenty of time to finish up your last-minute homework or join a group of folks for a light-hearted "Snack Bunch" fellowship at a local restaurant afterwards.)

Looking Ahead...Going, Growing, Knowing -- it's what's ahead for February! ... February and the weeks ahead will be bringing some exciting challenges an opportunities our way as we continue to be about the business of "Connecting with God while connecting with others and helping people in need." That means, especially in 2010, that we'll be seeking to Trust God, Follow Him, Obey Him, and Expect to see Him at work among us and around us. Or, stated another way, we're seeking to be "Star Trek Church" in the sense that we're ready to boldly go where we've never gone before ... following God's direction.

For years Sunrise Mountain has proudly sponsored an Awana club. It's an exciting, fruitful ministry to children, teenagers, and adults. And this year it's bigger and better than ever. We've "tweaked" our schedule to allow for more time, wonderful new leaders have joined us to serve alongside those already faithfully serving, we've added a new club (the Puggles -- 2 year olds) and we've seen a whole bunch of new A.W.A.N.A. clubbers. Parents, A.W.A.N.A. is a wonderful ministry that comes alongside you in helping you raise your children in the instruction and discipline of the Lord. Come and check it out !

We know God answers prayer. He has answered ours so many times. We stand ready to pray with you, pray for you, and be of help to you in any way we can be of service. (You don't need to be a member of Sunrise Mountain for us to pray with you ... just let us know what we can pray with you about and we'll consider it our honor to do so.) Our dedicated prayer warriors look forward to it, and we know God is faithful in answering the fervent prayers of righteous people.
