It's here...a new year. It will be a year chock full of new challenges, new decisions, new possibilities...and a new theme, but it is a year we'll be led by our same wonderful Lord.

I still enjoy watching re-runs of M.A.S.H. on t.v. Colonel Potter’s ability to stay calm amid the chaos brought to the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M.A.S.H.) unit by Captains Hawkeye Pierce and Trapper McIntyre, Majors Hot Lips Houlian and Frank Burns, and Corporals Radar O’Reilly and Max Klinger is still a marvel to me...

Appreciate...Adjust...Accelerate. I've found much solace and comfort these past weeks in Paul's writing in the New Testament. Being confined to a bed or at least greatly hampered in my ability to be up and around, it has been no small comfort to read Paul's instructions and insights, given to him by the Holy Spirit, during one of his several periods of confinement to a prison cell...
I've stated it before, and I'll state it again here today...my favorite holiday of all is Thanksgiving. So far it hasn’t become as commercial as other holidays. In fact, in some ways it seems like America--certainly American merchants--seem to skip right over it...and that's fine with me.
