The Sunrise Class -- Come and Check It Out!

The Sunrise Class is for everybody -- especially folks who want to join or learn more about Sunrise Mountain Baptist Church, what we believe, how we operate, what ministries are occurring, how to join, and how you can be involved in this exciting adventure and church family.

Led by Pastor Mike Gilbert, the Sunrise Class meets for two hours, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

  • It's an opportunity to meet some of the ministry leaders.

  • It's an opportunity to ask questions and have your questions answered.

  • It's informative.

  • It's fun.

  • And it's brief.

It also affords you the opportunity to join Sunrise Mountain.

  • After a "walk through the notebook" which details the history, beliefs, ministries, organization, policies, and how you can "serve according to your passion" as part of the church, you will be afforded the opportunity to sign up and "sign on" as a member of Sunrise Mountain.

The next Sunrise Class will be held Saturday, June 6.

  • To sign up for the class, you can do one of the following:

    • Indicate your interest in attending on a Connection Card during one of SMBC's worship services.

    • Call the church office, 623-566-0571.

    • Talk to Pastor Mike or e-mail him at pastor@smbcaz.org.

    • Or, you can simply indicate your interest in the comment section at the bottom of this page and send it along to the webmaster who will then pass the information along to the office.

      • Either way, someone will get back in touch with you to confirm we have you signed up.

We look forward to seeing you in the next class!

I just wanted to say this is a very good and informative class. Don't hesitate to learn about a church seeking God's will. This will give you good insight about the church and become acquainted with our pastor and learn about church life and how you can be a part. It answered many questions for me, I know it will for you. Don't put off the decision, if you feel a nudge of the Spirit then you need to follow. The best decision is to follow Christ and better yet with an informed decision of where He wants you to worship and serve.
