Regular Schedule of Worship and Events

You're invited to participate in all the events and activities of Sunrise Mountain.

REGULAR SCHEDULE...

Sundays
- - 8:30 a.m. -- Audio-Visual run-through and sound check
  - 9:05 - 10:15 a.m. -- BIBLE STUDY FOR ALL AGES
    - Classes are provided for all age groups in a fully-graded Bible Study ministry
    - Classes are taught by trained and committed teachers
    - Each class utilizes printed, Biblically accurate curriculum
  - 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. -- MORNING WORSHIP CELEBRATION
  - 12:00 noon (Once each quarter) -- Church-wide Pot-Luck and Family Meeting (business meeting)
    - Guests are welcome to stay for both the great food and the family meeting
  - 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. -- Sunrise at Nite band rehearsal
  - 4:45 p.m. -- "C.I.A." (Children In Action) (Children, K-6)
  - 4:45 p.m. -- "Student Life" (grades 7-12)
  - 5:50 p.m. -- Sunrise at Nite Band and Praise Team Prayer Time
  - 6:00 p.m. -- "SUNRISE AT NITE" !
    - Contemporary worship featuring upbeat music, to-the-point messages, drama, media presentations, and some surprises thrown in along the way.

Tuesdays
- First Tuesday of every month...
  - 4:00 p.m. -- Senior Adult Game Day
    - Table games, supper brought in, great fun
- Second Tuesday of every month...
  - 3:00 p.m. -- Senior Adult Ministry Leadership Team Mtg.
- Third Tuesday of every month...
  - 6:00 p.m. -- Church Leadership Team Mtg.

Wednesdays
- - 10:30 a.m. -- Morning Prayer Group
    - Everyone is welcome to attend and join the group in prayer
  - 6:15 - 8:45 p.m. -- AWANA
    - Fun and exciting time of Bible Study, Games, Scripture Memory, and awards
    - Clubs for everyone, ages 2 yrs through High School
    - Our adults are leaders and assistants so our boys and girls and teenagers can grow
  - 8:15 p.m. -- Instrumental and Special Music rehearsals.

Thursdays
- Third Thursday of every month (returns in Fall)...
  - 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. -- Senior Adults to the "Estrella Association Fabulous Senior Thursday" program at a local church in Maricopa County

Fridays
- Third Friday of every-other month
  - 6:30 p.m -- Seniors' Movie Night
    - Classic movies as well as recent ones, complete with popcorn, hot dogs, snack bar, hosted in the "Soaring Eagles Theater" (the church auditorium)

Saturdays
- First Saturday of every month:
  - 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. -- The Sunrise Class
    - An information and membership class open to all who would like to learn more about Sunrise Mountain Baptist Church
    - Led by Pastor Mike
    - Designed to answer any questions you might have about who we are, how we got where we are, what we believe, what we anticipate in the future, what is involved in being a member, how you can join, how you can serve
    - Also designed to meet other "new" folks as well as the Pastor, staff and other members who have been around SMBC for awhile
    - As a tool to help, and as a free gift: an informative Sunrise Notebook is provided to each participant
- Second Saturday of every month...
  - Alternating between morning breakfast and afternoon activity -- Ladies Breakfast and Missions Activity
- Third Saturday of every month...
  - 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. -- Men's Breakfast, Discussion, and Work Project
    - Great food
    - Informative, guided discussion concerning "Guy Stuff"
    - Capped off with a work project, usually work around the church facilities
